This leaflet covers the application of pesticides (solid or liquid) by hand-held equipment in forestry and other tree work. You can use this leaflet as part of the risk assessment process to to help identify the controls to put in place to prevent or adequately control the risk of contamination to people and the environment when applying pesticides.
