| Abstract |
The Ionising Radiations Regulations 1999 (IRR99)1 require employers to ensure that levels of ionising radiation in controlled or supervised areas are adequately monitored. This information sheet provides guidance on selecting suitable monitoring instruments for different radiation sources and workplace applications, and also on care and general maintenance.
