Abstract This information sheet is guidance for employers and managers responsible for offshore and onshore oil, gas and chemical installations and will be of interest to the nuclear and railway industries as well as safety representatives and trade unions. It provides advice on how to manage change within an organisation to ensure that health and safety risks are not created or increased. It covers changes such as the introduction of mult-skilling, company mergers, changes of management or staffing levels (including downsizing and delayering) etc.
