| Abstract |
This short video considers a number of situations which may lead to lateral overturning. The effect of dangerous manoeuvres are demonstrated using a specially adapted counterbalanced lift truck. Overturning accidents involving lift trucks are usually serious and frequently cause fatal injuries to the operators. The potential consequences of incorrect operating technique are often not fully appreciated by operators. The issues raised in this videl apply to all designs of lift truck and will be of assistance to both trainees and experienced lift truck operators. |
