| Abstract |
This criteria document has been prepared and published by the UK Health and Safety Executive (HSE). It contains up-to-date knowledge on exposure, measurement, toxicokinetics and toxic effects in animals and humans. It also includes items such as deficiencies in the knowledge base and groups at extra risk. The data in the document informed the Advisory Committee on Toxic Substances (ACTS) and its Working Group on the Assessment of Toxic Chemicals (WATCH)when making a recommendation for an occupational exposure limit.
