| Abstract |
There are thousands of drycleaning businesses in the UK, in most high streets and supermarket complexes. Drycleaning is a safe industry when it is managed well and the processes are properly controlled. However, potential problems include solvent leaks or even expolsions. This video describes the drycleaning process, highlights the importance of regular maintenance, and shows the sorts of risks a health and safety inspector might look for. As well as providing useful health and safety information for anyone in the drycleaning industry, the video also provides an initial source of reference for inspectors who assess compliance in drycleaning units. |
