This video shows managers and safety professionals managing slips risks in practice in the workplace. It describes a risk assessment model of trips, along with the hierarchy of slips control measures. The technical considerations for the measurement and the selection of floor materials are also reviewed. The management of slips risks and various examples of methods to eliminate and control slipping are shown in various working environments including a large meat-processing plant, a catering kitchen and its serving area, a public concourse with shopping concessions and motor vehicle repair workshop. |
