| Abstract |
This video graphically illustrates the debilitating effect on people's lives asthma caused by breathing in substances used in the workplace. Six asthma patients describe their symptoms and the effect the disease has had on them. Most cases of occupational asthma are caused as a result of breathing in a wide range of substances known as respiratory sensitisers and could be prevented. The video shows how employees can be protected from developing occupational asthma. |
