Abstract	Thermoform, fill and seal machines are used in a wide range of industries (mainly, but not exclusively, in those involved with packaging food and drink). The guidance in this information sheet will be useful to managers and the people who use the machines. Guidance is given on safeguarding for both existing and new machinery and is based on European and British Standard BS EN 415-3: 2000.
