| Abstract |
This information sheet outlines health and safety law as it applies to young people in catering and provides guidance on how to comply with that legislation. It has been produced because young people are particularly at risk and this is increased even further as many of them work on a casual or temporary basis, or are on work experience schemes. Examples of risk assessment and control measures are provided and there is also advice on what information employers must provide to parents or guardians.
