| Abstract |
This revised woodworking information sheet, one of a series produced by HSE's Woodworking National Interest Group. It gives guidance on safe methods of work for the most common jobs on hand-fed surface planers. It updates the previous version by taking account of the requirements of the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 and the supporting Approved Code of Practice entitled 'Safe use of woodworking machinery'.
